**A Day in the Life**
As a Sales & Technical Consultant, you will represent Medtronic’s InterStim™ therapy throughout Norway while providing occasional support to Sweden. This dynamic role blends sales excellence with hands-on clinical and technical consultancy. You’ll serve as a trusted expert for Medtronic’s InterStim™ System, supporting clinicians and nurses during procedures, offering training and guidance, while also driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives. Whether in the Operating Room (OR) or a strategy meeting, you’ll be the go-to partner for sacral neuromodulation across Norway. You’ll also engage directly with patient organizations to promote awareness, education, and patient empowerment, playing a vital role in expanding access to Sacral Neuromodulation. This is a Hybrid Sales & Technical Role and key hospitals will be in Tromsø, Narvik, Trondheim, Bergen, Oslo area; cross-border support in Gothenburg, and Malmö as needed.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Deliver technical expertise and clinical support during procedures, programming, and therapy optimization
+ Advise clinicians on therapy and patient selection, procedural planning, device use and optimization
+ Develop territory business strategies and execute against growth targets
+ Partner with patient organizations and participate in advocacy, education, and community events
+ Work with hospital procurement to secure contracts and improve market access
+ Work cross-functionally with sales, clinical, marketing, and reimbursement teams to optimize patient outcomes
+ Collaborate cross-functionally and provide support across borders and representing Medtronic at educational events and congresses
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, healthcare, life sciences, or business or equivalent
+ Experience in medical sales or clinical technical roles preferable within gynecology, urology, or GI therapies
+ Fluent in Norwegian and English (Swedish fluency or comprehension is a plus)
+ Willingness to travel across Norway and to selected Swedish hospitals and events when needed
We are looking for someone with a passion for innovative healthcare and patient-centric engagement with strong presentation skills across clinical and community settings, as well as strong interpersonal skills and comfort in managing key stakeholder relationships. You will have a proactive mindset, independent drive, and high ethical standards and be confident in both presenting commercially and supporting in the OR.
