Primary Purpose:
Responsible for supporting the District Commercial Manager (DCM) for sales interface administration between suppliers, operations and customer service. Supports DCM to execute on the sales growth of the district. Acts as link between sales, planning and operations, when necessary. Overall duties will be defined by the needs of the DCM and will be in support of any business segment as deemed appropriate by the DCM.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities that need interface between operations and regulatory
Supports DCM to determine business potential based on opportunity. Works opportunities through Operations/Regulatory team through to completion and track progress in SFDC.
Review/support pricing for new product and service opportunities
Prepares proposal for Sales Manager and Sales team to implement.
Cost management and CUPS
Pricing Management
Review product mix, profitability on district basis making recommendations to implement strategy to improve profitability.
Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
Backup to DCM for Sales in S&OP process.
Corporate Account Bid preparation
Provide district pricing for corporate accounts Negotiates CUPS cost base, if necessary, from producers
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Broad knowledge of chemical distribution – sales, marketing, financial, procurement. Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal Understanding of Univar service offerings Strong PC skills including Excel, Outlook, SAP and Salesforce

Pay and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $53,400– $90,100 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
