Sales Support Specialist
Job Title: Sales Support SpecialistJob Description A global leader in fuel dispensing, payment processing, and point of sale technology is seeking a Sales Support Specialist. This role involves a variety of complex sales support functions, such as guiding customers through order needs, ensuring accuracy in product numbers, discounts, and prices, and updating customer records. The Sales Support Specialist will communicate order details and issues to representatives and sales managers, and support growth plans through various channels in the retail fuel industry. Responsibilities + Provide initial response and subsequent follow-ups to customer emails and phone calls. + Offer primary support for customers placing orders and requesting changes. + Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and Customers on quotations, price exceptions, delivery methods, graphic requests, and quote conversions. + Guide customers through product choices based on site requirements. + Implement, track, and document customer claim requests for missing, damaged, or incorrectly shipped items. + Develop a thorough understanding of systemic ordering tools and product literature for order entry and customer response activities. + Assist the sales team with minimal reporting requests to identify trends and volumes within various regions or channels. + Communicate general updates to Sales Managers regarding outstanding items requiring their attention or assistance. + Relay order details to Sales Managers and customers from acknowledgment to delivery. + Cross-collaborate with other departments to meet or exceed customer expectations. Essential Skills + Customer service + Data entry + Sales support + Order entry + Microsoft Excel + Microsoft Office + Administrative support + VOIP + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience in account/order management or customer-facing role + 5+ years experience in sales support, inside sales, sales admin, or corporate customer service + Experience with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce + Intermediate to advanced user of MS Office applications, VOIP, ERP & CRM (ERP is Oracle, preferred) + Excellent administrative, clerical, and record-keeping skills + Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for problem-solving + Ability to manage changing and conflicting priorities effectively Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in customer service, sales, and/or program management is preferred. + Effective interpersonal verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to relay information between accounts and sales management accurately. + Well-organized and flexible under pressure. + Bilingual is a plus. + Understanding of import/export compliance, BMS, ISO & EHS regulatory processes. Work Environment This position is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days remote. Office days are Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Monday and Friday. There is flexibility on the days, except Friday. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
