The Sales Support Representative will be responsible for providing aftermarket sales/services support to our sales team, including sales support representatives and customers to insure continuing success of the parts and services business. Duties include but are not limited to product quotes and pricing, order entry and tracking. Prior customer service experience in a business-to-business or manufacturing role is preferred. Must be a self-starter, responsible, organized, and demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Accurately complete order entry of purchase orders received from email or ecommerce store. Review all required fields are for accuracy; minimize change orders, credits due to inaccurate information.Follow all contract review policies and procedures.Enter orders and processes quotes within 48 hours or update with notes related to issues preventing processing.Coordinate and act as “voice of the customer” to ensure on time delivery.Interact effectively with internal and external customers, providing status of orders as requested.Submit required updates to customer notes and other information for shipments through correct resourcesAttach all required correspondence to business system for easy retrieval by other team members.*Position Requirements
Two (2) years of customer service experience in a business-to-business or manufacturing role is required0-2 years of experience with seals, pumps, and related systems preferredMust have strong organizational and interpersonal skillsStrong verbal communications skills and must be fluent in EnglishMust be proficient using MS Office applications such as MS Word and MS Excel and ability to quickly learn in-house applications/systems that support this roleMust be detail oriented, have good problem-solving skills and be able to organize and prioritize responsibilities.Assist with Continuous Improvement projects as assigned.*Preferences
