To join us in maintaining and developing our market leading position in the Decarbonization arena and Gas Solutions, we now have opening as Sales Support Engineer, at Wärtsilä Gas Solutions in Kalmar Sweden. The position will play an instrumental role in developing market for Biogas upgrading and liquefaction technology and maintaining our market leading position in the gas treatment solutions.
What will you be doing
As Wärtsilä Gas Solutions Sales Support Engineer your work will focus on ensuring that we identify and pursue relevant opportunities in your international territory, leading
the sales activities, and for closing the contracts with our new and existing clients. For you to succeed in the position, You should have the experience and
understanding of marine market and be curious by nature and dedicated to providing Biogas solutions for the long term
In this position you will be reporting to General Manager in Kalmar Sweden
As a Sales Support Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
Identify, develop and manage existing and new customer relationships in the territory Lead sales projects and negotiate contracts technically and commercially for Newbuilds, Retrofits, Upgrades and Agreements in your assigned territory Deliver Net Sales, Margin and other relevant metrics in the territory Organize and participate in relevant sales meetings with customers Collect and communicate market intelligence and competitor information in dedicated territory Ensure that customer inquiries and orders are responded to in a prompt and satisfactory manner Responsible for organizing an efficient and good transfer of all sales projects from sales to project department Manage relationships and co-operation with agents (where applicable)
To be successful in this role, we expect you are/have
Experience in technical sales, preferably in Biogas market, with a proven track record in delivering business results Negotiation skills, proficient at negotiations, both technically and commercially and able to close deals Cultural knowledge and bridging the gaps between different cultures Fluent in English and Scandinavian Eager for close collaborate with teams across business functions – as well as with internal stakeholders across the globe Customer centric mind-set and experience from customer interface related activities Presentation skills, ability to adapt the messaging to the audience A team player with a can-do attitude Relevant education in technical disciplines
