Sales Support Consultant (Hydraulic Excavators Portfolio)

As Sales Support Consultant for Hydraulic Excavators (EXD) **,** you will have responsibility of providing commercial and technical support to the GCI Sales Team and also work with dealers throughout the ANZP region to support them with application expertise and sales training. This role requires knowledge of machines, the applications in which they work, as well as customers and their purchase criteria and behaviours. This position develops and executes content that aim at 1) creating the right solutions and offering to customers to support a positive customer experience with our products 2) provides sales support for the GCI Sales Team and dealers; 3) supports go to market commercial strategies; and 4) ensures NPI marketing readiness is achieved. **Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:** •Supporting all the Go To Market Strategy initiatives for the EXD Portfolio in ANZP region - ensure alignment with training and segmented marketing work streams •Developing, writing and delivering core content and materials for HEX, with a focus on technical specifications documents •Working collaboratively with GCI Global and Regional Product Application Specialists and HEX engineering teams to ensure accurate and consistent marketing communication **Required Qualifications** •Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business •5-7+ years marketing or technical document creation experience •Knowledge of Cat Excavators and their applications •Strong analytical skills to drive decision making recommendations with facts and data •Experience creating training material, write commercial programs and plans to support sales execution •Ability to work independently – to implement, execute, and meet deadlines. •Strong organizational, planning and communication skills **Desired Qualifications** •Cat field or dealer experience _This is a permanent full-time position_ **Posting Dates:** June 18, 2025 - July 3, 2025 Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
