Job Summary:
As a Sales Support Administrator, you will be responsible for hardware pricing requests and BOM costing, as well as general support into the sales function.
Overview of the role:
• key role helping to define and set the budget of our AV projects and assists in a supporting role for development of Sales Proposals and other administrative duties as required.
• Within the Sales Support Group, providing administrative support where required to ensure that the other team members can focus on their client or technical responsibilities.
• The role would suit someone with good numerical skills and experience using pricing sheets in excel form.
• Scheduling appointments for the sales department, service providers, suppliers, and customers.
• Maintaining and updating supplier, sales, and customer records.
• Keeping track of the sales team's communication with customers.
• Managing the sales department's budget and commissions.
• Liaising with other departments on administrative matters of mutual importance.
• Performing research toward identifying potential sales leads and pitches. Sales Support Administrator Requirements:
• Experience – 2 – 4 years, AV industry preferred.
• Any bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in sales support administration, or similar.
• Experience with sales industry software like salesforce and client relationship management (CRM) systems, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of administrative recordkeeping practices.
• Familiarity with sales contracts and agreements.
• Working knowledge of managing budgets and keeping track of sales commissions.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as customer service skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proactive approach toward problem-solving.
