Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Sales Support Administrator, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting Account Managers with back-office tasks and day-to-day customer needs. This is a proactive role that requires strong computer skills to navigate between multiple systems daily, and offers growth opportunities to advance into an Account Manager position.

ResponsibilitiesSupport three Account Managers with customer needs, and assist other managers as needed based on work volumes.Enter customer orders and quotes into the system, and process Return Authorizations.Research and follow up on customer orders, making occasional phone calls to supplier partners, corporate office teams, and customers.Obtain Proof of Deliveries from customers and ensure open order reports are current.Work extensively with Microsoft Excel for order entry and reporting.Assist in general clerical tasks such as email/phone correspondence and filing.Conduct research on products not currently in the sales portfolio.Enter, process, and maintain Quality event records, and follow up with customers regarding Accounts Receivable when needed.Demonstrate a positive attitude and self-starting capability, working independently and as part of a team.Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure quality in all tasks.Communicate effectively, utilizing both phone and email as required.Engage in problem-solving and demonstrate a proactive approach to challenges.Essential SkillsPrevious sales experience, including retail (1+ years).Experience working with the general public.Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple screens (1+ years).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (2+ years).Experience in administrative/order entry tasks (1+ years).Strong attention to detail in previous roles (1+ years).Comfortable entering, processing, and maintaining quality records.Customer service skills with confidence in phone/sales work.Additional Skills & QualificationsMotivated with drive and energy.Interest in process improvement.Not task-oriented; proactive in providing solutions.Works well with a sales team.Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite, in a small office environment supporting a team of three sales people. Initial training is conducted virtually, but the role requires onsite presence. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm, totaling a 40-hour work week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
