Sales Supervisor

The sales supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of a team of agents engaged in promoting and selling plans by phone.

Supervisory Responsibilities:Supervises daily activities of licensed agents and/or customer service representatives in team of 10-20 employees. Responsible for scheduling, approving timecards for payroll, approving time off requests

Duties/Responsibilities:Coach team of sales agents to drive new salesExecute on daily operational procedures and tacticsEnsure employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobsCreate and maintain a high-quality work environment so team members are motivated to perform at their highest levelBridge clear messages and instructions to the teamMotivate team membersMonitor team’s performanceConduct real-time phone monitoring and coaching to agents using a variety of systemsCoach agents on the proper ways to effectively use rebuttals to improve closure salesMaintain industry and product knowledgeMeet and/or exceed call center key metricsAssist agents with product specific questionsCertify newly hired sales agents on proper execution of call flow and other call center proceduresCreate a productive and positive synergy with the teamGeneral understanding of workforce managementEnsure applications are submitted accurately and on timeUnderstand and adhere to all Company Carrier and/or CMS related policies and proceduresEnsure staff is aligned to approved WFM schedulesAssist agents with difficult and escalated callsPerform related jobs duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities:High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious experience leading a team of 10+ employees6 months experience in a sales call center environmentPrevious experience with Medicare Advantage salesA current and valid Health LicenseStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be detail-oriented, motivated, self-starter, with excellent time management and organization skillsAbility to resolve escalated issues with members, carriers and other clients

Preferred Skills/Abilities:Bachelor’s DegreePrevious experience with an outbound dialing program

Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)Able to wear headset for duration of shift
