Sales Strategy and Operations Manager
Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Strategy and Operations manager to play an impactful role in the Asia Pacific, Japan and China (APJC) Strategy Planning & Operations team. The role's primary focus is Asia, including ASEAN, Greater China, Republic of Korea (ROK) and India & SAARC, and is a key role within the Senior Leadership Team with significant visibility and influence over the business. We are looking for a hands-on strategic thinker to help transform and propel the regional business to its next phase of growth. You will partner with the Go-to-Market Leadership Team and the broader functional teams (e.g., Finance, HR, TA) to prioritize, plan and operationalize key business strategies.

Orchestrate the formation of region’s strategic priorities, with primary focus on Asia regionDesign & build Go-to-Market coverage models for sustainable growth and increase market share Partner with Sales leaders, and drive the operational cadence, including data preparation and analytics for regular business review, annual fiscal planningProvide reporting, metrics and trends analysis to the Splunk sales leadership team, including the analysis of bookings, orders, customers, pipeline, and quotas to help drive business decisions and identify areas of growth and opportunities for improvement.Manage process consistency and quality in data and reporting to help build sustainable synergies across the organizationMaintain and improve critical business dashboard and drive management visibility to support the business efforts and outcomes. Provide leadership insights and recommendations based on the data.Develop and deliver key reporting and analytical support for the sales organization, particularly focused on territory expansions and customer buying patterns, industry segmentation and sales compensation.Monitor and track key performance drivers around bookings, forecasts, pipeline and quotasIdentify operational, processes & reporting anomalies and identify cause and correction.Ensure accuracy of lead flow, account assignments and dashboards within salesforce.com.Collaborate with cross functional and operational team to ensure effective and efficient business operations in APACPartner with APJC and World Wide functions to ensure alignment. You will thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.Your role is people, data and communications intensive; it requires excellent leadership, critical thinking, independence, organizational, data analysis and communication skills, and managing by influence.Requirements: I’ve already done that or have that!Minimum 7 years experience in a Business Operations and/or Reporting and Analytics role in an enterprise-level companyShould have strong analytical and problem-solving skills from degrees or projects undertaken in the past, and intellectually curious.Strategic and innovative with an external awareness to adapt to market transitions and understand the nuances of selling complex solutions.Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability from previous experiences to build rapport and relationships.A teammate, developing and fostering meaningful relationships and strong collaboration skills, with an amazing track record of leading and working with cross functional teams.Strong operational command of businesses, including metrics’ based goals and achievement approach.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills and executive presence, with the ability to address and influence both executive and mid-level management.Excellent quantitative analysis, use of spreadsheets and modelling tools and strong familiarity on Office software (Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc)A self-starter, independent and a driver. Detail oriented, have a 'can-do' attitude, take initiative and are highly organized. Acts with a sense of urgency.Willing and able to roll-up the sleeves to get things donePassionate about the technology sectorAbility to analyze business analytics and read situations well.Gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others.Works effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.Knowledge of ASEAN, Greater China, Republic of Korea (ROK) and India market is required
