The position Sales Specialist Protein Sciences (PSX) - AllPlex is responsible for developing and handling relationships with new and existing high-level customers within both academia (clinicians, professors, etc.) and industry (pharma). The position focuses on achieving short and long-term sales objectives, by identifying customer needs and providing solutions to create a long-term partnership between the customer and PSX Business Unit.
MAIN DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Grows overall revenue from PSX Portfolio and kits
· Understand the major drivers and limitations of the market in the relevant territory
· Continuously drive territory visibility (contact and projects) and win rate.
· Drives the externalization strategy of the PSX BU while partnering with Core Labs and CRO’s, and other potential strategies defined.
· Maps key accounts
· Lead Service Providers growth under assigned responsibility /
· Manage existing and new biomarker discovery projects within these accounts
· Provides technical presentations to potential clients interested in protein biomarker discovery
· Provides study design advice in collaboration with FAS team to ensure client happiness
· Presents sophisticated material to potential customers
· Brings creative solutions to clients and be able to understand the value drivers within their organizations
· Maintains updated customer and opportunity information in Salesforce
· Learn and systematically apply the Olink Sales Process
· Maintains knowledge of competitor`s products and technologies
· Drive sales with existing Explore customers by partnering with Business Development Managers
· Works closely with Inside sales, Project Coordinators, FAS, Data Scientists, Scientific Affairs and the wider organization to increase commercial success
