Summary

In this role, you will support Engineered Performance growth in the industrial and power generation sectors. The candidate will assist in generating leads, supporting account management, and executing sales strategies under the guidance of senior staff. 

Primary Duties

Here are the qualifications and experience we're looking for and how they will be used in this role:

Strategic planning - support the NAES Engineered Performance objectives by identifying business opportunities with a fleet customer focus to meet the strategic objectives of the business unit in the industrial and power generation market. Marketing - a working knowledge of marketing strategies and techniques in order to conduct research, identify RFP/RFQ opportunities, manage email/Marketo marketing campaigns, and assist with proposal development and new product/service development. Conduct market and competitor research to support sales strategy. Sales - support sales efforts by making cold calls, qualifying leads, responding to information requests, attending trade shows and participating in related activities with a focus on fleet customers. Ability to interface with the senior staff to develop client relationships and grow accounts. Computer savvy - track opportunities and develop leads using the CRM software; proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Dynamics and Adobe Suite Proposal development - lead proposal development for fleet opportunities and possibly seller-doer model Communication skills - possess excellent written and verbal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with external customers and internal contacts throughout all levels of the organization Learn and understand Engineered Performance product lines and maximize Engineered Performance offerings to each account Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure technical solutions meet customers needs Provide post-sale support and help manage customer satisfaction and feedback

Working Relationships

The position this job reports to the VP of Sales & Commercial, for Engineered Performance.

Compensation

The initial starting annual compensation will range from $84,300 - $96,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Education and Experience:

A degree in business or marketing is highly preferred but not required Prior marketing, sales, inside and external sales or closely related business experience is required Cold Calling experience Experience in the industrial and power generation field is desirable Excellent interpersonal, organizational and process skills Ability to work within preset deadlines and establish work priorities involving multiple tasks

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; must be able to handle long periods of computer screen time.

This is a full time position that requires 40 working hours a week. We offer the option of working remotely or a flexible hybrid office schedule. Extended working hours may be required during periods of high workload or major projects.  Occasional travel required as needed to attend trade shows or visit customer locations.

Fit for Duty

All employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. This program includes a pre-employment drug screening.

Performance

All employees have the responsibility to both the customer and their co-workers to do the job right the first time, and to ensure the business needs are being met.  NAES evaluates performance throughout the year.  Performance reviews are completed on an annual basis.
