Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s or diploma qualification with sales experience in the manufacturing and automation industry, specifically in product systems.4 to 9 years of relevant experience, with 50% travel mandatory. Proficient English is required; Tamil and Hindi are an added advantage.Builds strong customer relationships, understands needs, and supports sales operations by generating leads, creating RFQs, negotiating, and managing payments.Drives business strategy, market intelligence, pricing excellence, and portfolio management to enhance growth and performance.Manages sales enablement, contract and risk management, solution sales, and business development to meet targets.Ensures compliance with ABB’s core values, safety standards, regulatory policies, and ethical business practices.Focuses on ABB robots, functional packages, and automation solutions for electronic and consumer durable customers.
