Our proteomic sciences solutions are transforming the understanding of human diseases through advanced protein biomarker discovery. With our innovative Olink solutions – including highly specific and validated assays that cover more than 5,000 proteins – our colleagues and technology empower scientists in groundbreaking research that will play a pivotal role in the future of personalized medicine. Territory is mainly managing Central and Southern NJ, and must
live in the greater market.

Become a Sales Specialist / Business Development Manager HP transforming human disease understanding in New Jersey. Empower scientists with Olink solutions for groundbreaking research.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Understand the major drivers and limitations of the market in the relevant territory
+ Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), requiring a strong scientific background
+ Grow overall revenue from Olink Explore service and kits
+ Map key accounts and manage both new and existing biomarker discovery projects
+ Provide technical presentations to potential clients interested in protein biomarker discovery
+ Present Olink applications with high confidence and address technical questions
+ Guide study design in collaboration with the Field Application Scientist team to ensure client happiness
+ Bring creative solutions to clients and understand their value drivers
+ Maintain updated customer and opportunity information in Salesforce
+ Keep abreast of competitive products and technologies
+ Collaborate closely with Sales peers, Project Coordinators, FAS, Data Scientists, and the wider organization to improve commercial success
**Keys to Success:**
Education:
+ BSc required. MS, or PhD or equivalent experience in Molecular Biology or a related scientific field
**Experience:**
+ 5 plus years of relevant sales experience
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
+ Proven track record of performance in a customer-facing role
+ A relevant network of contacts within the territory
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
+ Must be upbeat, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
+ Able to meet or exceed revenue targets
+ Ability to work well in a team environment
+ Strong deal sheet with demonstrated ability to close business
+ Open to learning from experienced team members
+ Willing to teach and share relevant experiences with the team
+ Technical experience with proteomics or biomarker discovery is a plus
