Are you a graduate in a relevant field or experienced Maritime Sales professional in Electrical Services and motivated to pursue a career within a renowned company in Service Sales and decarbonization of Maritime and Ports operation? If so, this job is tailored to you.

You will contribute by supporting the maritime industry with innovative services and helping ports transition to more sustainable operations. Our solutions help customers decarbonize their operations and partner for a sustainable future. Key focus areas will be general Service Sales with Ship owners and Ports shore power systems, enabling safe and reliable vessels and integration of sustainable power from shore, thus reducing emissions significantly. Additionally, you will explore opportunities within port electrical infrastructure to support smart and emission-free port operations.

Your focus will being close to our customers and identify opportunities.

You understand how our solutions contribute to the business of our customers and when to introduce our highly qualified Product Managers to enhance customer experience.

You are motivated to build meaningful customer relationships and develop your skills in sales and customer engagement.

The position oversee the market of Denmark, Iceland, Faroe Island and Greenland as well Germany for Shore power. The market is developing rapidly and demand is high. You know the competitive landscape and are capable of positioning ABB as the preferred technology provider of advanced and integrated services.

You will be part of our local service team and collaborate with international colleagues, receiving technical and sales support as well as proper training. Role & Responsibility

Engage in customer visits and support lead generation within Service sales and shore power projects across Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Faroe Islands, and Greenland.Lead the bid team in selected tenders and feasibility studies, preparing customer business cases.Promote ABB solutions in customer meetings and events to retain and build customer commitment.Provide input to Product Management and manage consistent costing and pricing of projects and service offering.Build product and market knowledge, networks with key decision makers, and support sales across the general product portfolio, with a key focus on general service sales and land side shore power solutions.Support meetings for solution sales and consulting and gradually take on responsibilities in negotiations and market analysis.

Qualifications

Some experience or keen interest in technical sales within the maritime or port services sector.Electrical technical background such as Electrical Engineer, Marine engineer, or equivalent.General understanding of the maritime industry, decarbonization and regulations and good technical understanding of electrical systems.Ability to collaborate within a matrix organization. Demonstrated ability to maintain effective professional relationships.Commercial and customer focused mindset. Skilled in building customer satisfaction.Willingness to learn how to manage sales processes and engage with stakeholders. This could come from a background in sales, project management, or product management.Systematic and structured work approach. Fluent in Danish and English. Knowledge of German or Swedish is an advantage.

This role will report to the Sales Manager, and you will have your base either in Ballerup or Middelfart. Most of your time you will spend being with our customers and attending face-to-face customer meetings.
