About the team

The FIS commercial lending group of dedicated professionals focused on helping financial institutions streamline their commercial lending processes. They work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences. This team leverages the FIS Commercial Lending Suite, which offers a comprehensive range of tools for the entire loan process, from origination to servicing.

About the Role

As a Sales Solution Consultant (Commercial Lending), you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the sales cycle by translating client needs into compelling solution proposals. You’ll collaborate with sales executives, product teams, and clients to demonstrate how FIS technology can solve real-world business problems in commercial lending. Your expertise in Commercial Lending will help drive strategic engagements and position FIS as a trusted partner in digital transformation.

 

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales Executives to understand client requirements and craft tailored solution presentations and demos.Lead discovery sessions and workshops to identify business pain points and align FIS solutions to client needs.Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and value propositions, with engaging presentations and configured software demosCollaborate with product and implementation teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions.Provide RFP responses and proposal development with technical and functional input relating to Commercial LendingStay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and FIS product capabilities, presenting in webinars and at industry conferencesMaintain accurate records of client interactions and solution engagements in CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics).Drive alignment between Product Management and Sales organizations

 

Requirements

A passion for commercial lending and financingExperience in either banking, lending or software sales/presalesStrong understanding of commercial lending processes and related software solutions, with a focus on loan servicingExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Ability to manage multiple engagements and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud-based solutions is a plus.A willingness to travel to customer sites to build relationshipsAbility to organize, prioritize, and multi-task, with attention to detailCuriosity and a desire to continuously learn

Bonus requirements

Hands on experience with FIS Commercial Loan Servicing platform aka “ACBS”Proven experience in solution consulting or pre-sales within enterprise software, ideally in lending technology.
