This role requires individuals with experience in selling cloud services. We are looking for individuals who can understand the fundamentals of cloud services and explain them to customers, potential customers, and internal partners. It's also crucial to communicate the value of second-generation Oracle Cloud products, product strategy, and the advantages of OCI over competitors to customers. You should have a passion for AI, Data & Cloud services and be able to address customers' business challenges.
The position is encouraged to be based in Tokyo or the greater Tokyo area. We encourage applications from candidates with proven track record selling cloud services to businesses of all sizes.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
Devoting more than half of the week to prospecting for new business. Using Oracle Sales Cloud to forecast, lead, and contract at least 50 to 60 deals annually (approximately 10% from existing customers). Collaborating with other Oracle Sales teams including managers from various departments, pre-sales, and major partner companies. Providing accurate information about HeatWave Cloud to decision-makers in customer system development and cloud adoption. Collaborating with internal and external teams as a team member for large projects, including providing support to other teams. Mastering and optimally using Oracle's sales tools, including Territory Intelligence, Market Intelligence, Sales Cloud, and LinkedIn etc. Conducting quarterly reports and account planning session for management review. Mastering meeting techniques to elucidate customer requirements. Summarizing the product value of Oracle Cloud and HeatWave CloudRequired skills and experience:
Running sophisticated sales cycles and consistently achieving sales results. Knowledge and experience in direct sales of software and IT (3 years or more). Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and potential customers and the ability to close deals.
