This role is challenging – above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll have a big role within a fast-paced team. This position will report into the Director of Finance & Strategy.What you get to do every day: Act as the primary point of contact for trade clients, interior designers, and VIP customers, delivering exceptional service and personalized supportOffer tailored product recommendations and assist clients throughout the lifecycle of their interior projectsOversee and manage custom orders, special pricing requests, and delivery coordination to ensure a smooth and premium client experienceExecute proactive outreach, including outbound calls and targeted follow-ups, to drive repeat business and deepen client relationshipsPartner with the marketing team on co-branded campaigns and contribute to the development of creative, client-focused sales strategiesRepresent One Kings Lane at trade events, industry webinars, and product launches to grow the brand’s presence and build strategic partnershipsCollaborate cross-functionally with logistics and operations teams to monitor high-value orders, manage timelines, and resolve any customer claims or escalationsWhat you bring to the role: 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably within interior design, trade sales, or luxury home décor sectors.A degree or background in Interior Design is strongly preferred.Experience working with luxury retail, hospitality, trade clients, hotels, resorts, or universities is highly desirable.Proficiency with AI-powered sales tools (e.g., Apollo) is a strong plus.Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with high-value trade and VIP clients.Excellent communication and consultative selling skills, with a focus on personalized service. Experience managing custom orders, pricing negotiations, and detailed project requirements. A proactive and strategic mindset for driving repeat business and maximizing account potential. Comfort with outbound sales efforts, including cold calling, lead generation, and self-sourced pipeline development.Strong ownership mentality and a collaborative spirit to work cross-functionally across marketing, operations, and logistics.Familiarity with CRM systems and a willingness to leverage data for client insights and outreach optimization.
