Position Purpose
Manager-Sales Region, Latin America and South America is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and sales plan to grow the Zurn Elkay businesses in the market. Responsible for sales growth and market share opportunities with new and existing customers. Participate in major selling situations and monitor on a monthly basis all sales activity within his/her region.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for achieving the annual sales quota and profitability goals for all product lines.
Instructs and counsels Zurn Elkay Partners (ZEP) (reps and distributors) to drive the strategic breakthrough activities within their region while creating capability and capacity within their organization.
Reviews and assesses product line sales performance, commissions, and strategic KPI’s with ZEP on monthly basis, including development of forward-looking product demand forecasts.
Continually monitors partners effectiveness against prior year and regional competitors, communicating competitive movements to sales and product management teams.
Works closely with the ZEP to understand and align their organization’s short term and long-term business plans with Zurn and Elkay.
Understands ZEP organizational health, territory issues, succession plans, and deployed resources to Zurn Elkay.
Collaborates with sales and marketing teams to develop strategic breakthrough sales strategies in conjunction with product management tailored to territory conditions.
Develops and maintains relationships with entire channel within region including Owner, Property Manager, Engineer, Contractor and Wholesalers.
Identifies and prioritizes strategic conversion opportunities with Contractor, Engineers and Distribution teams.
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Education and Expereince
Bachelor’s degree; preferably in marketing or business management.
Proven 5 to 8 years sales management/technical experience calling on owners, specifiers, contractors, and distributors for plumbing related products.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the plumbing industry or related market required.
Fluent in Spanish, both verbal and writing.
