This Position reports to:

Local Business Controller, UK


 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to the organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance. This role supports financial operations across the UK and Ireland, supporting the UK & IE Controllers for Sales & Marketing within Electrification divisions of Smart Buildings, Smart Power with a focus on project control, Orders & Revenues analysis, Controls Performance, master data governance, and oversee rebate performance.

The work model for the role is: #hybrid

Main stakeholders are Sales Teams, Senior Management, and Product Managers.

Your Role and Responsibilities  

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. 

Analysing business performance against budget and forecast; suggest improvements.

Benchmarking KPIs with competitors and internal sites.

Preparing financial models for various scenarios, focusing on profitability and costing.

Supporting financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Validating financial data through reconciliations and reviews.

Preparing and presenting reports, findings, and recommendations to management.

Developing automated solutions to improve productivity.

Ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Finance Master Data Ownership: Maintain and oversee finance-related master data.

Rebate Management: Oversee rebate postings and evaluate performance with Pricing Manager, providing management reporting on rebate effectiveness and financial impact.

Order & Revenue Oversight: Manage orders and revenue data for key stakeholders.

Regional Scope: Provide financial support and oversight across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications for the Role 

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or relevant certifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA (Part or full qualified)

Experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field

Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to provide insights and support strategic planning

Skilled in using ERP systems to manage financial data and processes

Project and Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and manage projects, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders

Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
