Position Purpose:

We are looking for a Sales Performance Manager to join our Retail excellence team in Auckland. This role is critical in driving sales performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring alignment between sales and operational planning (S&OP). The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience in sales performance management, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to drive collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance Analysis & Strategy:

Analyze sales data and key performance metrics through the customer funnels that you build to identify growth opportunities. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance sales effectiveness and maximize revenue opportunities. Provide actionable insights to leadership team and sales teams to drive revenue growth.

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):

Lead and coordinate the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, demand planning, and operational execution. Work closely with marketing, finance, HR and Sales teams to balance key metrics within the funnel Identify gaps in planning and execution, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:

Act as a key liaison between sales, marketing, HR and finance teams. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.

Reporting & Business Insights:

Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards and reports for leadership. Ensure data accuracy and provide regular updates on key business metrics. Use BI tools and statistical analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Skills and Experiences

5+ years of experience in sales performance management, S&OP, or business analytics within a retail or consumer-focused environment. Experience in building funnels. Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other analytical tools. Proven ability to analyze sales trends, identify challenges, and implement effective solutions. Experience in stakeholder management, with a track record of driving collaboration across multiple functions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making. Bachelors degree in business, statistics, analytics, or a related field. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment and adapt to changing business needs.
