Sales & Operations Planning Lead (x|f|m) - Hybrid
For the Global Supply Chain Consumables Technologies department we are looking for an Sales & Operations Planning Lead (x|f|m) for Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. The position is to be filled full-time and it is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen and the rest of the time remotely from home. This position is responsible for leading the Sales and Operations Planning process to ensure that our production capabilities are aligned with market demand and business objectives

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute plans that optimize inventory levels, improve service delivery, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency

Lead the Sales & Operations (S&OP) process, including monthly meetings and cross-functional collaboration

Coordinate with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and effective communication

Analyze market trends, customer demand, and inventory levels to make informed decisions

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance S&OP effectiveness

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on S&OP performance

Benchmarking the process amongst industry peers

Manage risks and opportunities related to supply chain and demand planning.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Reporting on S&OP performance metrics and providing recommendations for improvement to senior management

What will convince us

A successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Proven experience in S&OP, supply chain management, or related roles.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

Experience with ERP systems and S&OP software is a plus

Your knowledge of German and English is fluent, other language skills are an advantage
