The Sales Operations Manager (SOM) plays a critical role in driving sales productivity and effectiveness. This position oversees sales planning, reporting, forecasting, sales process optimization, and implementation of automation technologies to enhance business performance. As a strategic business partner, the SOM ensures that sales strategies and operations align with Brown-Forman’s growth objectives in Korea. The SOM is also responsible for planning and controlling sales budgets, including all types of discounts and bonuses to all customers/channels.


What You Can Expect

Leads sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes to optimize sales effectiveness.

Develops and implements sales projection cycles and business review processes.

Monitors and controls sales planning to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency.

Identifies sales opportunities through data analysis, market insights, and competitor trends.

Supports discount planning and profitability improvement initiatives.

Works closely with the  Sales Director to inspect and enhance sales process quality.

Ensures alignment of channel strategies and plans with Brown-Forman’s Commercial Way.

Develops category management strategies and engages customer teams in related projects.

Leads the Joint Business Plan (JBP) process with key customers by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Manages sales budget planning, including tracking discounts and customer incentives to optimize profitability.

Oversees customer contract management and ensures compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Provides ad hoc analytical support to drive strategic decision-making in the region HQ.

Regularly reviews and updates sales tools, ensuring accurate data management and providing training to sales teams.

Leads and mentors a direct report to ensure professional development and effective sales operations support.

What You Bring to the Table

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis or decision support in the spirits, consumer goods, or multinational industry.

Strong interpersonal skills to foster professional relationships with sales teams.

Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables), Salesforce.com, and mobile sales tools.

Exceptional analytical skills with a strong sense of data-driven decision-making.

Proactive problem-solving mindset with a positive attitude.

What Makes You Unique

Experience in customer management within the liquor, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, ideally in a global company.

Intermediate proficiency in English (written and spoken) is preferred.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into operational execution.

Excellent networking skills to build and maintain sustainable business relationships.

Ability to take initiative and independently solve complex business challenges.

Strong communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
