Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing and developing the Sales Operations team. This person will need to understand and own the sales operations process including customer onboarding and data management. They will drive continuous process optimization through evaluation and implementation of improvement initiatives and work closely with multiple cross-functional areas within the company to meet or exceed daily business objectives. Proactive, able to adapt, effectively problem solve, and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ever-changing customer requirements, this individual will need strong collaboration and leadership skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Owns the Sales Operations process by partnering with Sales on initial opportunity assessment to the accurate and timely onboarding of customers, including contract review and customer set up in the ERP. Responsible for customer master data governance, including but not limited to adding new customers and updating existing customer information such as contracted locations, labor and travel rates, material pricing matrices, specific rules as applicable to the customer or site level, and other customer and location data. Responsible for driving and motivating performance, upholding group culture, training and developing the team, and supporting hiring and recruitment efforts. In coordination with Sales, maintaining strong relationships with customers. Providing direction to maximize support given to internal and external customers by ensuring their expectations and requirements are met. Overseeing the registration of third-party online systems utilized by customers for vetting contractors, requesting and awarding bids, dispatching service calls, and invoicing. Carrying out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.  Embodies the CoolSys CARES culture (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Empowerment, Safety). Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in progressive project management or specialized customer support. 5-7 years of HVAC/R industry experience. Proficiency in balancing competing priorities with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal/nonverbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to use business software including MS Office Suite, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs, online facility management portals, and other digital tools. LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE 10+ years of peer leadership (or direct report) experience. Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate a diverse and multi-disciplinary team. Proficiency in managing time, delegating assignments, and following through to ensure optimal results.
