Position Summary: 

The Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role in supporting the organization by optimizing sales processes, managing CRM systems and reporting, enabling go-to-market strategies, and ensuring the team has tools and insights to meet revenue goals. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, operational rigor, and a passion for improving sales effectiveness. This position offers flexibility to work onsite or in a hybrid capacity. The Sales Operations Manager is expected to travel to our headquarters in Champaign, IL at least once per month, with additional visits as needed.


Duties/Responsibilities:

• Sales Process Optimization: 

o Design, implement, and improve standardized sales workflows to increase efficiency and reduce sales cycle time. 


• CRM Administration & Data Management: 

o Own the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot); ensure clean data, proper tracking, and reporting of leads, opportunities, and sales activities.


• Reporting & Analytics: 

o Develop and maintain sales dashboards, KPIs, and forecasts to provide actionable insights for leadership and sales teams. 


• Territory Planning & Lead Assignment: 

o Support territory design and customer segmentation strategies to optimize market coverage and lead routing. 


• Sales Enablement: 

o Coordinate onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement initiatives to ensure sales reps have the knowledge and resources to be successful. 


• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o Work closely with marketing, customer service, and network deployment teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market plans and customer experience. 


• Tool & Vendor Management: 

o Evaluate and manage sales tools and software vendors to enhance productivity and reporting capabilities



Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field; MBA a plus. 

• 5+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably in telecom, ISP, or technology sectors. 

• Deep understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI). 

• Proven experience supporting direct and field sales teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 

• Strong organizational and project management skills. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Familiarity with internet/fiber services is a strong plus. 

• This role can be onsite, hybrid, or remote with an expectation of travel to headquarters in Champaign, IL as needed. 



Physical Requirements: 

The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:

Compensation & Benefits: 

The salary range for this position is: $125,000 - $160,000 


Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience. Pavlov Media is committed to complying with the Equal Pay Act and places a strong emphasis on internal equity when determining compensation. Final pay will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with our internal equity standards, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organization. The salary banding for this role also allows room for growth, with opportunities for pay increases within the band based on performance and contributions.
