Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager to join our team in our San Diego office (In office 3 days each week). This role will focus on enhancing in-office collaboration and alignment, managing our Global Sales Operations newsletter, overseeing quote or booking incident reviews and analytics, participating in backlog prioritization, and maintaining process documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for optimizing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Active participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) release cycles including:Support UAT Prep and Kick-off activities including User Acceptance Scenario preparation, Test Script creation, and reviewParticipate in User Acceptance TestingAssist SOPs with any questions or help during User Acceptance TestingActively review defects during UAT and help coordinate resolutions for successful signoffQuoting Process Incident Review & AnalyticsCollaborate with DT to regularly review and report out Quote or Booking-related incidents, working with DT to identify root causes and coordinating with relevant teams for resolutionAnalyze incident data to identify trends and develop strategies for systems and process improvementPresent findings and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decisions
Quote to Order Backlog Prioritization:Participate in backlog prioritization meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on data analysis and stakeholder feedbackCollaborate with DT teams to ensure alignment on prioritiesFoster strong relationships with sales, deals desk, finance, legal, DT, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaborationAct as a point of contact for sales ops teams regarding quoting processes and tools, providing guidance and support as needed
Global Sales Operations Newsletter:Write and curate content for the Global Sales Operations newsletter, showcasing best practices, updates, and success storiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant content and insightsEnsure timely distribution and engagement metrics are tracked for continuous improvement
Process Documentation:Maintain and update process documentation related to sales operations and quoting functionalityDevelop training materials and resources for team members to enhance understanding and compliance with processesRegularly review and optimize documentation to reflect best practices and changes in operationsQualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field3 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in a B2B environmentExceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detailStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong understanding of Quoting processes and toolsProven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with data analysis and performance metricsNot sure if you meet every qualification? For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $112,200 - $196,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
