Sales Merchandiser (West Area)
**_What Merchandising contributes to Cardinal Health_** Responsible for providing technical and professional expertise related to retail independent store merchandising, including implementing merchandising plans, self-labeling shelves, merchandise updating, new customer set up, implementation of store layout design, store reorganization, merchandise pricing, and maintaining display. **_Accountabilities:_** + Builds and sustains relationships founded on trust with internal and external customers and ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty + Effectively collaborates with the customer, and internal constituents to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes and achieve consensus + Responsible for ensuring optimal service levels + Solve problems at the store level to maintain the standards established in the sales agreement + Execute and oversee special promotional campaigns created to boost sales volume + Monitor sales volume, inspect inventory levels, and maintaining in-store promotional materials **_Qualifications:_** + High School Degree is Required + Minimum of 2 years of related experience (Preferred) + Ability to travel Southwest territory of the island. Position will cover territory from Isabella to Lajas + Residence within or in close proximity to the assigned territory is required for for this role + Puerto Rico Active driver's license is required + Ability to travel & good driving record + Experience in Healthcare Industry is highly preferred + Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred + Must lift up to 75 pounds when necessary **_What is expected of you and others at this level_** + Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks + Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area + Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications + Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution + Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods + Adheres to all quality guidelines + Works under moderate degree of supervision + Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor + Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor _Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply._ _Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
