Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the Surgical Division within a growing medical technology company. This role combines commercial leadership, team development, market strategy, and operational execution. The ideal candidate has experience in surgical or healthcare-related industries and a strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor revenue and expenditure trends for the Surgical Business Unit and implement corrective actions to ensure alignment with the financial indicators set in the Progress Plan. Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the Surgical portfolio. Conduct detailed market mapping and client segmentation to support targeted business development efforts. Guide the team in preparing financial offers and tender documentation, ensuring compliance with the benchmarks and financial goals. Provide hands-on support in complex business situations to current team members. Mentor new team members and contribute to their successful integration. Support the continuous development and performance of the Surgical team. Ensure achievement of sales targets and gross profit objectives for the division. Successfully complete product training programs within the first year of employment. Manage and optimize the marketing and operational budget allocated to the division.Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the medical or surgical device sector. Strong business acumen and ability to interpret financial indicators. Experience managing teams and leading commercial strategy. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong understanding of tender processes and healthcare procurement systems. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees are an advantage.
