Sales Manger

Responsibilities + Achieve year on year increase in Sales within the Japan catchment. + Implement sales strategies, development business relationships, and deliver customer satisfaction. + Distil large amounts of complex information into the core basic issues and drive solutions + Management of large accounts in Japan and interacting with customer's technical engineers, procurement specialists, and management teams. + Teaming with resources at the Product Division and within the business unit is essential to achieve required results. Requirements + Minimum 15 years professional work experience + Minimum 10 years in a sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets + Bachelor's degree in related field such as metal or inorganic chemistry (technical background is highly preferred) + Metal related product or inorganic chemical sales experience at least 10 years. Especially Defense and Electrofusion experiences are preferred. + Working experience with global teams – Asia and USA. + Strong understanding and knowledge of the customers and competitive landscape in the Defense, Electrofusion and Semiconductor. + Excellent communication and presentation skills + Language: Japanese, Business level English (written and spoken) Capabilities + Ability to think strategically and develop and execute a comprehensive account plan + Demonstrated skills in technical selling + Highly motivated with a positive, energized approach; eager to lead and drive improvement + Able to establish and cultivate cross functional relationships across a multi-site environment and engage these resources to support account plans + Strong communicator, collaborator and negotiator + Strong moral and ethical compass + Knowledge of CRM (Sugar) and SAP preferred + Travel up to 40% Materion Corporation and its subsidiaries (the “Company”) is an equal employment opportunity employer.
