Responsibilities
Achieve year on year increase in Sales within the Japan catchment.Implement sales strategies, development business relationships, and deliver customer satisfaction. Distil large amounts of complex information into the core basic issues and drive solutionsManagement of large accounts in Japan and interacting with customer's technical engineers, procurement specialists, and management teams.Teaming with resources at the Product Division and within the business unit is essential to achieve required results.Requirements
Minimum 15 years professional work experienceMinimum 10 years in a sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsBachelor's degree in related field such as metal or inorganic chemistry (technical background is highly preferred)Metal related product or inorganic chemical sales experience at least 10 years. Especially Defense and Electrofusion experiences are preferred.Working experience with global teams – Asia and USA.Strong understanding and knowledge of the customers and competitive landscape in the Defense, Electrofusion and Semiconductor. Excellent communication and presentation skillsLanguage: Japanese, Business level English (written and spoken)Capabilities
Ability to think strategically and develop and execute a comprehensive account planDemonstrated skills in technical sellingHighly motivated with a positive, energized approach; eager to lead and drive improvementAble to establish and cultivate cross functional relationships across a multi-site environment and engage these resources to support account plansStrong communicator, collaborator and negotiatorStrong moral and ethical compassKnowledge of CRM (Sugar) and SAP preferredTravel up to 40%
