Sales Manager - Water & Waste

Sales Manager – UK based

 

We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our Water and Waste Global Sales team working for a better future. The position is a UK based role out of the Poole, Dorset office on a hybrid basis.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:


Actively sell the full product portfolio of the water and waste business through a combination of both direct or indirect routes to market.

Develop and maintain relationships with external customers and commercial partners.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to assist in delivery of business goals.
Ensure the company CRM system is maintained with accurate information to provide sales pipeline data.
Adhere to all process gates and work flows requirements in execution of the job function.
Support the broader sales and marketing activities by attending industry events, exhibitions and shows.

 

Development Responsibilities:


Participate in the sales Impact Daily Management process with timely provision of accurate information to track performance of business vs the priority goals.

Work with Sales Director to improve routes to emerging markets.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

Proven successful experience in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a capital sales role.  Network in the maritime industry, good understanding of stakeholders in the sales process.  An understanding of marine/process systems, specific knowledge of marine waste applications would be advantageous. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Deep understanding of sales strategies and dynamics within the maritime sectors.  Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with a wide range of differing cultural backgrounds.  Willingness to travel as required internationally.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

 

In this role, travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you will be ready to travel approximately 40% of your working time.
