Sales Manager - railway industry (f/m/d)
In Siemens Mobility we have been implementing the most advanced technologies on the Polish railway market for over 30 years. Public transportation must ensure that passengers are transported safely and comfortably while also meeting economic and environmental requirements. Siemens Mobility has taken all of these factors into account in developing its vehicles, locomotives, metro systems, trams, commuter, local and regional trains, passenger cars and vehicles for intercity and high-speed rail.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Sales Manager (f/m/d) who will to join our team and lead our sales efforts within rolling stock (commuter and regional trains) area in Poland. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in sales and a passion for the railways’ market.
You’ll make an impact by:Implementing of sales plans resulting from the industry strategy of sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the railways industryProviding information for forecasts and planning, sales and revenue related reportingIdentifying and target potential clients in the railway sectorInvestigating and evaluating specific business opportunities for the customer related portfolioBuilding customer focused network and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencersPreparing and negotiating projects and proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and managementMonitoring and reporting the market situation; conducting market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitors' activities to stay ahead of the competitionCollaborating with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to the marketStaying updated on industry regulations, standards, and technological advancements relevant to the railways marketConducting training for customers in the field of delivered products, participating in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build industry presence and generate leadsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution
Your success is grounded in: Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and business development Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the railways market or in an industry with the similar specifics and customer base Experience in consulting would be an advantageBachelor's or master's degree; technical degree will be an assetExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long term relationships with clients at all levelsAbility to work in global, matrix organization and building relationships across regionsFluency in English and Polish (German will be an asset)Open-mindedness and proactive approach. Self-motivation, perseverance and goal-orientation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry eventsValid category B driving license
