The Role 

  As a Field Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and driving sales initiatives within the Automotive Collision Industry. This position requires a proactive, strategic mindset, as you will not only manage a team of sales representatives but also engage directly with collision repair shops and potential customers to offer solutions that enhance their estimating and repair processes. Your responsibilities will include developing sales strategies, identifying customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and negotiating contracts. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

What You’ll Do 

  Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Field Sales Representatives, providing guidance and support to drive performance and achieve sales targets. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand our customer base and meet or exceed revenue goals. Sales Forecasting: Create and deliver accurate sales forecasts based on territory insights and market trends. Client Engagement: Conduct regular on-site visits and check-ins with clients and prospects, ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction. Upselling Opportunities: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our solutions during field engagements, maximizing revenue potential. Presentation and Training: Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to clients and train your team on effective sales techniques. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to align our offerings with client needs in the field. Performance Tracking: Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, team performance, and client interactions within CRM systems. Industry Representation: Attend industry events and trade shows to drive sales and generate leads, positioning Solera as a thought leader in the market. 

What You’ll Bring 

 Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in business, marketing, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of field sales management experience in the collision industry, with a proven record of success, particularly in SaaS solutions. Industry Knowledge: Prior experience within the automotive repair and collision industry is required. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, driving performance and achieving sales goals. Negotiation Proficiency: Proficient in negotiating business terms with line-of-business leaders, senior management, and C-level executives. Sales Success: A consistent history of exceeding sales quotas in competitive markets. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to changing customer needs. Communication Skills:
 Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for success.
