The Sales Manager – MICE & Guest Experience is responsible for developing and managing the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) segment, while ensuring seamless guest journey coordination for these group experiences. The role will proactively drive MICE business, manage group bookings, and act as a key liaison between clients, the commercial team, and operational departments to deliver bespoke luxury events and guest experiences in line with luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities:Develop, manage, and grow the resort’s MICE business segment through proactive sales activities, strategic partnerships, and targeted marketing initiatives.
Identify, pursue, and convert MICE business opportunities from luxury corporate clients, incentive houses, and event planners.
Handle all MICE-related inquiries, proposals, site inspections, and contract negotiations in collaboration with the Director of Sales and Director of Commercial.
Ensure flawless execution of group experiences, coordinating with operational departments to deliver tailored itineraries, luxury dining experiences, and exclusive island activities.
Collaborate closely with the reservations, F&B, spa, and recreation teams to enhance guest experience offerings for groups and incentive travelers.
Monitor and report on MICE market trends, competitor activity, and revenue performance, providing recommendations for business development.
Represent the property at key industry trade shows, sales missions, and client events as required.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the resort’s facilities, services, and unique experiences to confidently present tailored proposals to clients.
Act as a dedicated on-property contact for MICE groups during peak periods to oversee the guest experience and event execution.
Qualifications:Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a sales or MICE role within a luxury hospitality or resort environment.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and successfully managing high-end group bookings and incentive events.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.
Knowledge of international MICE markets, particularly within the luxury segment.
Fluent in English and additional languages is an advantage.
