Main responsibilities:

Define and implement the commercial strategy, market segmentation, go-to-market, pricing, customers, products, and cross-selling to ensure the growth of Prysmian's market share in Mexico, as well as develop loyalty and growth programs with customers. Lead and manage sales team towards industry results in sales volume and margin and define individual sales team goals for their respective variable compensation.  Map key accounts with your team and achieve order closure with these accounts to meet the company's short-, medium-, and long-term business objectives.  Specify in conjunction with his team products made in Mexico and abroad to position the brand and especially the differentiated products and higher value-added projects in the sector where the company is present.  Evaluate the performance of the area in charge and his team, determining areas of improvement and adjusting strategies as needed. Ensure compliance with the requirements, standards, policies, and procedures of the integral management systems, as well as internal ethics and compliance standards and policies, monitoring and promoting their application and observance throughout the Company, to align all activities with the Company's Organizational Culture. Define the financial, technical, and human resources, etc. to ensure compliance with the goals set. Full responsibility on business performance in Mexico leveraging on company full portfolio and intercompany capabilities. Responsible for preparing sales reports and forecasts. Manage Key Accounts, End Users, and distributors to increase the relationship and build partnership. Ensure the coordination of the sales activity by tracking main projects and solving priority conflicts (e.g., product availability shortages, channel conflict) Understanding the customer needs working in partnership with R&D in the definition of the new product development roadmap Provide sales forecasts both during monthly S&OP process and during Management plan process (budgeting) Set price lists, discount percentages and delivery times, budgets for sales promotion campaigns, sales methods, and incentives. Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within designed market sector(s). Manage the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources (i.e. engineering, marketing, partners, etc.) Use your solution based selling expertise to respond optimally to customer needs and identify business potential to create a strategic, long-term partnership with our customers. Represent the regional reference points for Group Business Units Perform project management and contract management activities. Understand competitive scenario and benchmarking. Guarantee coordination with other functions (Product Development, inside sales, Supply Chain, Controlling) on specific BU perimeter. Manage sales targets by tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly, as well as keeping senior management informed of progress. Assess the competitive landscape and institute changes in the sales program, responding to changes from competitors. Establish a referral network with local businesses and find ways to maximize the value of those connections. Work together with HR Teams in the Implementation of a sales training, orientation program to train new entrants, generating growth in the area.

What profile are we looking for?

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

Education: bachelor’s degree in engineering or related and/or postgraduate studies such as MBA, etc. Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience leading commercial teams and the commercial strategy of the organization, preferably in the electrical sector.Experience managing complex sales cycles from end users to C level.Proven sales track record, ability to prove consistent delivery against revenue targets.Demonstrated ownership and self-sufficiency in all aspects of territory management.CRM experience and strong customer referencesTeam managementAdvanced ExcelLanguage: fluent spoken and written English.
