JOB DIMENSIONS
Location: Port Moresby.
Employment Type: Full-Time ACTIVITIES • Develop and implement sales strategies and develop the sales for lubricants, fuel cards, and solar products in line with the budget and the long-term plan.
• Manage a sales team of 2 Sales Rep.
• Manage directly the key accounts.
• Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, fleet operators, industrial customers, and commercial partners.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to support product positioning and customer education.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
• Manage the relation with the Lubricant Business Line.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and contractual obligations.
• Lead and mentor a small team (if applicable) to achieve sales targets.
• Provide strategic oversight and leadership to the Lubricants and Car Care Products portfolio across B2B and Retail segments.
• Ensure distributor management aligns with the Distributor Management System and supports sustainable growth.
• Monitor and guide team performance on volume, margin, and profitability KPIs.
• Support the implementation of marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Oversee competitor intelligence gathering and market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure alignment with HSEQ policies and promote a strong safety culture across all sales operations.
• Provide coaching and technical support to team members to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Navigate and lead through the complexities of Papua New Guinea’s economic, cultural, and regulatory environment. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Strong leadership.
• Team management experience.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in energy, lubricants, or solar industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with MS Office, CRMs and SAP Key. DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES • Experience in launching or scaling new product lines.
• Technical understanding of the energy sector (fuel, lubricants, solar) is a plus.
• Strong network within industrial or commercial sectors.
