Drives for growth and penetration in the region consistent with Customers’ needs and according to Company strategy, objectives, and policies. Promotes and maintains a customer-focused culture within the organization to drive customer happiness in the region. This role will be also responsible for setting direction and sales pursuit strategies and ensuring that all sales channels meet the sales target and develop account strategy and complete key action plan.
This job is based in Algeria and will be responsible for driving the Systems and Software business in Algeria & Tunisia.
In this Role, your responsibilities will be:
Lead divisional sales & business development initiatives in Algeria & Tunisia. Meet/exceed agreed short- and long-term Financial Targets (Orders, Sales, SG&A) and deliver on both Monthly and annual basis the Presidents Operating Report (POR). Provide strong management and authentic leadership to channels. Collaborate with and support sales representatives in the region. Collaborate with project execution team delivering projects in the region to take advantage from scope expansion opportunities. Develop and implement sales strategies for projects. Maintain an accurate project pursuit list and provide monthly reports and forecasts to divisional Sales. Prepare and present forecasts, pricing surveys, competitor intelligence and collaborate in defining country marketing plans. Work closely with other Emerson Process Management Divisions and improve pull-through content. Work closely with proposal generation group to ensure all offers reflect customer needs, are forecasted, competitively priced and are submitted on time. Improve customer satisfaction by finding solutions to their needs. Take a pro-active role in working with the Emerson Global Project Pursuit Team and Key Account Managers to identify, qualify and pursue control system projects to achieve order conversion and enhance the potential for all Emerson Process Management products and services. Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of Emerson Process Management. Promote the business benefits of Aspentech to customers and collaborate with Aspentech Sales representatives as per Emerson’s strategic direction. Capture customer key business drivers and ensure inclusion within Emerson proposals. Increase revenue and profit from the existing installed base. Promote, exhibit and support the principals of Sales Perfection. (ICE, PPVVC etc) Improves own professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Ensure you align with Ethics, Trade Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety policies; guarantee that the Business meets Emerson Policies and Local Legislation. For This Role, You Will Need:
Degree/Diploma in a vocation such as Mechanical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation/Automation or similar engineering or equivalent. 8-10 years of Sales Management experience with a proven track record in Algeria
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building. Excellent presentation and computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be proficient in English. Preferred experience within the Software / Control systems /PLC Scada environment Significant experience in high-level business negotiations. Excellent commercial experience with the ability to understand customers and the Emerson business environment. Able to travel locally and abroad as per the job needs. French and English communication.
