About the Role
As a Sales Manager 2 within our New Business department, you will lead a team of high-performing Account Executives (AEs) focused on driving new customer acquisition. You’ll be responsible for hitting monthly team targets, developing individual contributors through hands-on coaching, and fostering a culture of performance, integrity, learning, and winning.
This role is critical to the success of our growing sales org and offers the opportunity to shape both people and process at a high-impact level.What You’ll DoLead and coach a team of Account Executives to exceed monthly and quarterly sales goalsRecruit, hire, and onboard top AE talent and supporting team membersProvide daily coaching, strategic development plans, and real-time call feedback to drive individual growthConduct weekly 1:1s and pipeline reviews to ensure focus, alignment, and performanceBuild and sustain a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, development, and resultsContribute to and lead team initiatives including training, onboarding, contests, and trade showsParticipate in AE Huddles, sales leadership meetings, and onboarding sessionsAnalyze sales data to surface trends and identify opportunities for team improvementServe as a culture ambassador, championing Houzz’s values across your team and the organizationAt a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have3+ years of experience in a Sales Manager or equivalent leadership roleProven track record of leading high-performing teams and consistently hitting and exceeding targetsDemonstrated success ramping new hires and promoting team members through career stagesExperience driving strategic initiatives and managing through changeStrong coaching capabilities with high emotional intelligence and motivational leadership styleDeep understanding of structured sales processes, including pipeline management, sales stages, and accurate forecastingIdeally, You'll Also HaveExperience in SaaS or digital marketing sales environmentsProficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales reporting toolsAnalytical mindset with the ability to make data-informed decisionsPassion for empowering small businesses and supporting entrepreneursThrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and leads teams confidently through changeCompensation, Benefits and Perks
This role offers an annual base salary plus variable pay based on business metrics and performance. This role has an annual starting salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 with On Target Earnings of $140,000 - $165,000. We also offer competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Houzz.
