Sales Manager, Global Trade Solutions (Mandarin)

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as aSales Manager

Principal responsibilities:

· Manage a portfolio of GTS clients, establish new client relationships and strengthen existing ones

· Proactively identify potential opportunities in the local market and help create right customized solutions to cater for client demand

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank

· Participate in events, initiatives, and activities to develop business opportunities. Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining strong working relationships

· Work together with Solutions Structuring team to structure more complex deals

· Work with Solutions Implementation team to execute and implement the deals in a timely fashion and to ensure a seamless process for complex clients

· Assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions and showcase due consideration of the bank’s reputation and objectives

· Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making

· Provide technical leadership and support technical excellence by searching out external best practice, practicing continuous technical and professional development, sharing knowledge and encouraging others to do the same in the best interests of HSBC and its customers

· Communicate and adhere to HSBC policy and procedures in order to ensure good operational, financial and project management, policy and procedural compliance and early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise
