The Washington Hilton is looking for their next Sales Manager for Diplomatic Relations and Leisure. 

\n

Located just blocks from Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, the historic Washington Hilton boasts 1,107 guest rooms and 118,160 square feet of meeting space spread over 3 floors with 47 meeting rooms. It’s an ideal location for groups!

The team is excited to fill this unique and fun role in sales at the Hilton. We are looking for someone to handle a mix of FIT, Group Tour, local BT, and Embassy group business.

Ideal candidate:

We are seeking a candidate with at least 2+ years of hotel sales experience, a passion for proactive networking, and the ability to build strong relationships within the market. This person will be the go-to representative for all 150 Embassy connections in the city. If you are passionate, knowledgeable about international markets, and love boots-on-the-ground selling, this is the job for you!

Pay Rate: $31.25 and $33.65 per hour – final offer based on experience.

What will I be doing?

\n

As the Sales Manager (Diplomatic Relations and Leisure) for the Washington Hilton, you will represent the hotel in researching, developing, and soliciting new FIT, Group Tour, local BT, and Embassy business, while maintaining relationships with current accounts.

\n

Specifically, you will:

\n\nTravel outside of the office to meet with customers and prospective clients to develop business, make proposals, negotiate contracts, maintain contacts, conduct site inspections, and close deals.\nRegularly meet with and entertain customers, conduct property tours, and participate in trade shows, industry, and community events to promote hotel facilities and services.\nDevelop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
