Summary 

The Sales Lead Position is a key role responsible for delivering exceptional service and performance. This dynamic, goal-driven professional will lead by example in a multifaceted position focused on training, brand advocacy, assisted sales, and program operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about the success of the team, eager to grow within MarketSource, and committed to achieving strategic goals while driving strong sales in their market. This role will focus on modeling the behaviors required for the success of the brand. In addition, you will focus on increasing sales and revenue within the ecosystem. As a Sales Lead you will be responsible for proactively assisting in sales and/or lead generation while providing extraordinary customer service. 

Essential Job Functions:  

·      Drives sales productivity and customer satisfaction within retail locations on various products, accessories and services to customers.

·      Engages in side-by-side selling with retail associates.

·      Grows program sales performance and other key metrics through sales, peer training and marketing promotions.

·      Develops and manages in-store promotions/sales events, and coordinates with appropriate personnel.

·      Creates product and brand awareness for various products.

·      Effectively communicates various features, advantages of products and services to customers.

·      Model behaviors for team members and provide feedback and coaching on performance of peers to program management.

·      Deliver excellent customer experience to clients and customers. 

·      Increase sales and brand awareness of the client products or services. 

·      Display a professional demeanor while representing the brand 

·      Leadership Support: Assist with special projects and initiatives.

·      Client Relations: Engage with clients for training, sales strategy, and lead generation.

·      Providing customer service consultation within retail locations.

·      Providing positive reinforcement and adult learning techniques to promote learning and skill improvement.

·      Maintaining sound knowledge of multiple products and services.

·      Attends requested training sessions and conference calls.

·      Educates and reviews new product and service offerings with teammates 

·      Develops and manages positive business relationships with retail store management and employees

·      Ensures proper merchandising at locations, including product placement, maintenance, and brand compliance

·      Restocks merchandise as needed and allowed.

·      Supports select retail outlets in assigned geographical territory

·      Visits retail locations periodically

·      Ability to demonstrate selling skills, product knowledge and drive results

·      Ability to speak confidently to various group sizes.

·      Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving abilities

·      Ability to successfully lead a team of sales reps

Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) requiredMinimum of 1 year retail experience in a selling environmentProficiency with technology – data gathering and basic computer applicationsProven track record of sales success in an energetic quota driven environment Flexibility to work weekendsValid US Driver's LicenseReliable transportationSome travel may be required within the US
