As a Sales Intern - Retail you will be part of our Early Talent Program. Our Early Talent Program is Molson Coors’ undergraduate summer internship program, where students are exposed to the beverage industry, engaged in real-world problem-solving, and immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns. The internship is a full-time summer position from May 4 - August 7 (Canada interns) and May 27 - August 7 (U.S. interns).
Housing assistance is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements. Applicants must be an undergraduate student (enrolled in undergraduate courses), during the summer internship, to participate in the Early Talent Program. Interns who successfully complete the Early Talent Program are considered for full-time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company, upon graduation.
This position works closely with the Canadian Commercial Sales team in each region to assist us in creating positive brand experiences and delighting our customers and consumers.
What You'll Be Brewing:
Supporting Sales, Customer Solutions, Marketing, and S&E initiatives as needed Development and Execution of effective Presentations, Promotions, Programs Live and Breathe our company culture and represent Molson Coors Canada Build Relationships with colleagues, customers consumers, and members within your community. Identify and provide solutions to problems based on best practices. Reporting of pre and post promotions to ensure brilliant execution. Communicate findings regarding accounts, industry trends, potential business opportunities to the Sales team. Merchandising support when needed- Setting up signage, merchandise and promotional materials at accounts and events. Inventory Management - Managing inventory, promotional materials, and swag.
Key Ingredients:
You have the ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule if needed, including some evenings and weekends and light travel You have a valid driver’s license with no limitations/restrictions. You will be required to provide a recent copy of a Driver’s Abstract You are self-motivated with a magnetic personality; you project a positive, team-first and professional corporate image, and demonstrate strong problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. You have past work experience in sales, promotions, marketing and/or customer service fields You have a passion for the beverage industry – especially Beer and new trends Solid Microsoft Proficiency – PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Calendar Management Social Media comprehension & involvement You are involved in extra-curricular activities You can lift over 20 lbs, no lifting restrictions You have (or can get) your Smart Serve Certificate (or provincial equivalent)
