About the job:
Collaborate with the Global Sales Manager in defining/implementing the commercial strategy for the Institutional FICC Flow business and setting the unit business plan & budget taking into account the market drivers and investors’ appetite Generate recurrent income to meet revenues targets that are set each year in the Global Sales unit and Global Sales & Structuring overall budget Lead and promote the distribution among institutional clients of operations originated by the DCM (Debt Capital Markets) unit. Focus on improving DCM distribution capabilities and credentials Lead the team coordination, delegating tasks amongst team. Follow up/supervision of all ongoing commercial activity Drive the origination of FI/FX commercial opportunities with institutional clients, managing a client portfolio (permanent interaction + identify new business opportunities) Encourage the coordination and strategic alignment with GM/CIB areas to reinforce BBVA FI trading and structured product development capabilities Drive the interaction with Risk for negotiating approvals Track the unit activity monitoring main activity indicators. Follow up the operations’ pipeline and the budget compliance Lead a key role in promoting the bank's positioning a key player in the market (region) Lead the coordination with Policies & Procedures CIB for the definition and update of the Institutional Clients FICC Sales operating procedures & with IC CIB for monitoring the compliance with the established operative framework Ensure that the unit activity complies with internal & external operational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Introduce the unit activity with institutional clients both to internal and external clients Manage all staffing issues for the unit together with the Sales Manager and TC CIB Report to the in-line Sales Manager on a periodic & ad-hoc basis about main unit activitySkills:
