Position Overview:
The Sales Executive – MICE is responsible for converting group and event inquiries into confirmed bookings while ensuring timely, accurate communication across all reservation channels. This role focuses on maximizing revenue from Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions through proactive lead generation, client relationship management, and effective coordination of administrative and operational tasks. The Sales Executive also supports marketing and promotional efforts to enhance the hotel’s visibility and contribute to its overall sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively seek MICE business to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.Manage and convert all incoming MICE inquiries via phone, email, web, and third-party platforms (e.g., Cvent).Acknowledge all booking requests within 4 hours and respond promptly to RFPs with tailored proposals.Utilize appropriate sales and CRM systems to track leads and enhance conversion rates.Conduct pre-event, in-house, and post-event communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.Develop and maintain a detailed events schedule to optimize space utilization and revenue yield.Apply consistent up-selling techniques to maximize revenue per event.Build strong relationships with corporate and agency clients to fully understand their needs and preferences.Arrange and conduct hotel site inspections and client show rounds.Collaborate with the planning and operations teams to ensure smooth handover and execution of confirmed events.Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials such as newsletters, mailings, and sales blitz campaigns.Actively participate in promotional events, client visits, site inspections, familiarization (fam) trips, and trade showsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred).Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel sales or event management, preferably in the MICE segment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Proficient in sales systems and tools (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Cvent).Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Energetic, proactive, and results-driven mindset.Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings or weekends, if needed for events.Position Overview:
