We are looking for a Sales Executive to broaden and deepen B2B coverage in the DXO Channel (DXO = Digital & Execution-Only). The Sales Executive identifies, builds, and develops new business opportunities for Vanguard. The role involves leveraging existing sales expertise and product knowledge to support the retention of key accounts. The candidate will independently manage a portfolio of accounts and also support senior sales executives and managers in handling larger and more complex prospects.
Core Responsibilities
Achieves sales and retention targets within the spirit of Vanguard's Code of Ethics by actively managing all relevant activities across the sales process, including engagement with both executive and operational stakeholders.Gathers and develops a deep understanding of market dynamics in the DXO space both bottom up and top down.Supports B2B sales relationships in the DXO channel and contributes to planning and executing sales activities under the general guidance of senior sales executives or managers.Supports the development and execution of a strategic B2B sales plan for the DXO client segment, aiming to efficiently identify new business opportunities and leverage Vanguard’s capabilities for optimal success.Drives results by raising awareness of Vanguard's investment capabilities and services through targeted prospecting activities. Prospect activities may include cold calling, face-to-face meetings, targeted mailings, hosting seminars, and attendance at industry conferences.Develops, maintains, and broadens relationships with prospects and client organizations. Captures detailed understanding of the philosophy and dynamics of the prospects and client organizations.Acts as a trusted adviser to prospects and clients and positions Vanguard products and services effectively.Maintains awareness of the regulatory environment and ensures Vanguard’s activities remain compliant with applicable regulations.Communicates effectively across the organization, sharing market insights, client intelligence, and relevant data to support decision-making. Maintains familiarity with internal reporting and performance metrics.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
