Sales Excellence Manager - Microsoft Advertising

We are seeking a high-performing **Sales Excellence & Strategy Manager** to lead our Accounts and Billing Go-to-Market (GTM) and Sales Enablement strategy in support of Microsoft Advertising’s growth. This role is pivotal in driving scalable, customer-centric solutions that simplify the billing experience for both sellers and advertisers across our combined offering. The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset, thrives in ambiguity, and excels at cross-functional collaboration. You will lead the end-to-end strategy, execution, and change management for the Accounts and Billing space—partnering across Microsoft Advertising, Microsoft AI (MAI), and broader Microsoft teams to deliver process improvements that enhance seller productivity and customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact role that requires strategic thinking, operational rigor, and a passion for enabling field excellence. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** + Drive cross-functional alignment by partnering with Engineering, Sales, Support, Product Marketing, Business Planning, CELA, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure global and regional teams understand the business and operational impact of GTM (Go-to-Market) launches. + Lead the development and execution of GTM plans, including timeline management, risk documentation, and establishing effective rhythms of business to continuously improve launch readiness and execution. + Identify and address execution challenges by proactively surfacing issues, analyzing root causes, and designing scalable strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. + Collaborate closely with Sales teams to uncover customer-impacting pain points and co-create solutions in partnership with Finance and other corporate stakeholders. + Champion the voice of the field by synthesizing Sales feedback and influencing Engineering, GSO, and partner teams to ensure product and tooling evolution aligns with both business and customer needs. + Maintain and evolve sales enablement resources, including process documentation, training materials, and customer-facing content, ensuring sellers are equipped with timely, accurate, and actionable information. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + 7+ years experience with active participation in sales, sales operations/management, account management, program management, business development, marketing, consulting, or a related field + OR equivalent experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in an accounting, finance, or billing related field; or experience in resolving customer billing queries, or related processes. + Proven ability to lead complex projects from planning through execution, including timeline management, progress tracking, and stakeholder coordination. + Demonstrated strength in navigating ambiguity, driving process improvements, and delivering results in fast-paced, dynamic environments. + Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple strategic workstreams and cross-functional initiatives simultaneously. + Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business needs, influence stakeholders, and foster alignment across teams. + Experience with change management and driving adoption of new processes or tools across diverse stakeholder groups. \#MicrosoftAI #MSA Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
