Exciting opportunities await at Axis!  We’re on the lookout for a new Sales Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia, based in Dammam.

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the technical side of the sales process, sharing your expertise on Axis network video solutions with our partners and end-users. Your main responsibilities will include delivering product presentations, conducting demos, and leading training sessions to highlight the value of our offerings. You’ll also work closely with Key Account Managers and Inside Sales teams to uncover new business opportunities and build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers at selected end-user accounts.

 
Apart from the above-mentioned tasks it will be your job to: 

Delivering expert technical support and guidance to partners and end-users throughout the sales processLeading product demos, conducting site surveys, and managing pilot installationsSupporting the sales organization in responding to tenders, RFPs (requests for proposal), and RFQs (requests for quotation)Providing technical training sessions and ongoing support to Axis Partners and end-usersStaying current on Axis products and innovations to develop customized customer solutionsManaging technical logistics for Axis-hosted events, exhibitions, and trade showsCollaborating with Key Account Managers and Inside Sales to identify, influence, and secure new projectsParticipating in joint customer visits with Key Account Managers to present product demos and coordinate pilotsSupporting the sales team in evaluating tenders to prioritize high-potential projects that offer strong ROI

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  
We are looking for a focused and self-motivated team player with a technical background in Security or Networking. You will have the ability to hold inspiring presentations and demonstrations and to build strategic and trustworthy relationships at all levels.  

 
You will have experience in pre-sales, project-based work within the video security market, alternatively within the IT channel and have knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies and applications. You will have technical confidence to set up and demonstrate complex solutions within Network surveillance and solutions. Knowledge of VMS software and a basic understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud concepts, Gen AI use cases is an advantage. Finally, you are creative, curious and passionate for technology.  
 
Apart from this you should have the following qualifications and experience:  

10+ years of experience in the video surveillance industry or IT channel, with strong knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies, and related applicationsSound knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP), VMS software, and hardware technology Proven experience in pre-sales within the IT channel, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExcellent organizational and follow-through skills; high level of self-initiative, self-motivation, and sales-oriented Ability to provide effective presentations and demonstrations to all levels, including Axis corporate managementExcellent communication skills to develop internal and external relationshipsProficiency in English is required; Arabic is not a must but preferredPreferred industrial certification in the IT and CCTV industriesPreferred industry experience in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems

 
Also, please note:

The role involves some traveling within Saudi Arabia, UAE and Middle East, also some conferences to the Swedish Headquarters in Lund and across EMEAPrevious experience in the Saudi market is preferredValid KSA driving license is preferred
