The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving business growth through technical sales, customer engagement, and solution development within the HVAC industry. The role combines technical expertise with strong sales capabilities to understand customer needs, design and present tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Sales Engineer also works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet revenue and margin targets, while maintaining long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales and achieve revenue & margin targets in assigned territories.
Engage with consultants, contractors, and end-users to understand HVAC requirements.
Prepare technical proposals, system designs, and value-engineered solutions.
Track quotations, support OTM forecasts, and coordinate stock availability.
Maintain and grow long-term customer relationships across commercial, retail, and industrial sectors.
Guide application engineers in preparing selections, quotations, and after-sales support.
Conduct technical presentations, project discussions, and solution pitches.
Monitor sales pipeline, win/loss projects, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Analyze sales data and market trends to refine strategies and forecasts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (applications, service, supply chain) for seamless execution.
Maintain CRM (Salesforce) data and participate in regular governance and sales reviews.
Stay updated on industry trends through training, workshops, and networking.
Contribute to team initiatives and support business continuity efforts.
