We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team and drive the growth of Rosemount products and services across key customer segments in the QLD/PNG region. Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to assist customers in improving operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Pro-actively build and maintain effective business relationships with nominated customer segments operating within the region. Provide a high level of customer contact via predominately face to face as well as phone, email, video, and other digital media Work with the Sales Support, Customer Care & MANZAT teams to provide quotations for products. Follow up on quotations and win orders. Generate new opportunities through customer dialog and demand creation activities (presentations, integrated marketing, industry events, social media, etc.) Proactively research and develop business plans to grow sales and services in the nominated customer segment Conduct analysis and research to gain a full understanding of the customer base and keep abreast of any changes to the market, competitors, technology and the industry in general Develop and implement sales plans for the nominated customers and industries in the region. Review, evaluate and report on sales activities and initiatives Ensure there is a strong brand awareness within the nominated customer segment through marketing, advertising and demand creation activities Utilise CRM, Outlook, Toolkit and other supporting infrastructure and business processes as directed Identify and raise opportunities to sell other Rosemount or Emerson products. For This Role You Will Need:
Tertiary qualified in an engineering related discipline Proven sales experience in the process control industry (Field or Inside sales) Experience and understanding of sales budgeting and forecasting processes Experience interfacing with business systems (CRM, Office, Oracle, etc.) Understanding the technical aspects of the business and key business driversPreferred Qualification that Set You Apart:
