Sales Engineer – IP and Optical networks – Entry Level

We are looking for a Sales Engineer who provides technical assistance to the Sales Directors and is responsible for all pre-sales technical efforts.
Responsibilities Include:
Support the Sales Team in the Sales process:Analyzing the ability to meet the needs of potential customers and putting together technical solution descriptions.Presenting and selling the proposed technological solutions to the customer with the assistance of the Sales ManagerHelp prepare technical response for Bids, RFI's and RFP'sCreating and retaining positive ongoing relationships with customers & partnersAttend trade shows, conferences, and network within the industry to keep Ribbon's position and communications at a high levelEducation and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT or other relevant degreefluent German and English language skills (min. level C1)Familiarity with the telecommunications and Service Provider industry, its products, services and technologiesDemonstrates an excellent overall understanding of the telecommunications and Service Provider industry, its products, services, and technologies, such as:IP Networking basics: TCP/IP, Subnetting, OSI layersRouting: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS (L2 & L3 VPN), Segment Routing, RSVP, LDP, Multicast protocols (IGMP, PIM), Multicast VPN (MVPN)Switching: MEF Services, VPLS, VPWS, EVPNExperience with traffic generators and network protocols analysis tools - advantageExperience in Network Management tools - advantageIndustry certifications (CCNP or JNCIP or equivalent) – advantageAnalytical and structured, good team playerConfidence in presenting technical solutionswillingness to travel (up to 30%)permission to work in GermanyWhat we offer:
